Foxhound will produce approximately 199,219 MWh of renewable energy in its first year of operation. This equates1 to:

  • Carbon sequestered by almost 118,527 acres of forest in one year
  • Reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of over 19,608 cars off the road for one year
  • Reduction in CO2 emissions of over 15,366 homes’ electricity use for one year
  • Economic
  • During construction the project will generate up to 100 jobs during the peak of construction
  • Over the life of the facility, Foxhound will inject millions of dollars in property tax revenue into Halifax County
